Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat and Sugar Coat Summer 2013 Collection Swatches and Review

Sunday, May 19, 2013

Hello beautiful! Today I have swatches from the Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat and Sugar Coat Collections. I almost didn't have time to make a post because Blogger was trippin' this morning, and I'm headed out to work, sigh. Anyways, here are the polishes from the two collections that I picked up from Target. I used two coats for all of the Fuzzy polishes and 3 coats from the Sugar Coat Collection.

Wool Lite

Peach Fuzz

Fuzzy Fantasy

Cotton Candies

Sour Apple

I choose my favorite colors from both of the collections.  There are two additional polishes from the Sugar Coat Collection and 3 from the Fuzzy Coat. These colors screamed summer to me so I went with them. First impressions, I think the fuzzy coats are fun but I had a little trouble getting enough fuzz out of the bottle. I had to apply at least 2 coats to get a good layer over the polish.  I think the removal will be similar to glitter polish.  As far as the Sugar Coats, the colors darkened slightly after they dried. The formula is surprisingly thin with bits of grit (sugar) inside. I had to apply 3 coats for full coverage.  The Sugar Coats remind of the nail flocking effect and I wonder if that's where the idea came from. I'm not sure if I'm totally in love with the texture of the Sugar Coats, but overall I like these polishes and I think they will be fun for the summer.

I purchased the polishes from Target for $5.49.
